8 eggs hatch in Box 1

Blue Tits have 9 eggs
The Blue Tits now have a total of 9 eggs and the female has started incubating. The female is still bringing in bits of nesting material to add to her nest. Our estimates for hatching are around the 15th to 17th May. Keep checking the website and live cameras to follow their progress
7 eggs for the Blue Tits
The Blue Tit pair now have 7 eggs in Box 1. The female has started to spend a bit more time in the box during the day and the male has been in a couple of times with food. Check out the Live Cameras for all the latest
Blackbirds fledge
The three blackbird chicks have fledged this morning. Unfortunately due to the leaves over the camera we weren’t able to catch the fledging on camera. The three chicks have been around the garden being fed by both parents and we managed to get some video which we will upload a bit later.
3 eggs in Box 1
There are now 3 eggs in the Blue Tit nestbox. There is not much nesting material at the bottom of the nest and the eggs are actually sitting on the floor of the birdbox which is a bit unusual!
1st egg in Blue Tit nest
The Blue Tit has laid her first egg in Box 1 today. They are a little later than previous years and from some other sites. We will be posting updates on Twitter and Facebook and we will get some photos up soon
