We woke this morning to find one egg in Box 3 from the Blue Tits sitting right in the middle of the nest cup. This looked very promising and that egg laying was underway. However, the blue tits only made a couple of visits to the box today and have not yet returned. The computer that records the cameras is not fully set up yet so we don’t have any video footage of the nest box but it looks like they may have been disturbed, possible by the sparrows that were checking out the box.
